How do I join?
By far the easiest way to join is to come to our stand in the Freshers' Tent behind the Student Centre during Freshers' Week (the second week of Semester 1). Failing that, just e-mail a member of the committee to get yourself signed up.
Who can join?
Membership is open to all UCD students, staff and societies.
I lost my password!
Send an e-mail to ops@netsoc.com. If possible send the e-mail from your Netsoc e-mail address if you cannot access that e-mail send it from your alternate e-mail you provided when you signed up. This will help us to verify your identity.
Can I use Netsoc to connect to P2P networks?
No. While there are many legal non-infringing uses of peer to peer technology the prevalence of illegal activity would jeopardise Netsoc's future.
I cant connect via Putty on the UCD Wavelan network, why?
Sadly UCD has the port blocked on Wavelan.
